Terms of Service

1. What getLockin is

getLockin is a discipline and accountability application for traders. It helps you set personal trading rules, log trades manually, track a discipline streak, and notify a chosen accountability partner when you break your rules. It is not a trading platform, broker, or financial advisor.

2. Eligibility

You may use getLockin only if you meet the eligibility requirements.

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must have legal capacity to enter contracts in your jurisdiction
• You must use a real email address you control
• You must comply with the rules of any prop firm or broker you trade with

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify support@getlockin.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free and Pro plans

getLockin offers Free and Pro plans.

• Free - limited to 3 trade logs per day, no calendar history, no partner alerts, no drawdown monitor
• Pro - full feature access on monthly, quarterly, or annual cycles
• Pro includes a 7-day free trial when automated billing is enabled

5. Billing

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD; your bank may convert to local currency and charge an FX fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window on first-time annual subscriptions only, provided fewer than 5 trades have been logged. Monthly and quarterly plans are non-refundable once the trial ends. Refund requests go to billing@getlockin.net.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service.

• Do not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Do not use the service for illegal activity, money laundering, or market manipulation
• Do not spam, abuse, or impersonate accountability partners
• Do not resell, sublicense, or share your account credentials

8. Your content

You own the trades, contracts, notes, and other content you log. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it inside the app and to share it with services strictly required to operate getLockin.

9. Trading risk disclaimer

Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and outcomes. getLockin does not guarantee profitability, prop firm success, or any specific result.

10. Prop firm compliance

getLockin does not place trades and does not connect to your broker for execution. It is legally equivalent to a trading journal. You remain responsible for verifying compliance with your firm's rules.

11. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, and force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability.

12. Account suspension & termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Upon termination, access stops immediately and data deletion follows the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify the service or these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email and in-app at least 14 days in advance.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, getLockin's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of London, UK, except where consumer protection law provides otherwise.
